SouthPoint Church, located in Leonardtown, MD, believes that all people matter deeply to God. Welcoming and loving skeptics, outsiders, and the marginalized, their mission is to honor God by giving what they have so others may discover the joy of knowing Him personally. This commitment has fueled swift growth, resulting in the need for more space and resources. Recognizing everyone's unique path, SouthPoint understands the importance of overcoming challenges to advance their mission. It was then they turned to Abstract Union for help in authentically capturing their vision.

SouthPoint Church sought a bold and sleek approach vibe to match their modern approach of accepting people from all walks of life. The color palette needed to reflect the excitement of both past accomplishments and future goals. The overall look of the campaign needed to contain an echo of the first campaign while also having the freshness of a new initiative. With a diverse donor base comprised of church members, community members, and businesses, the campaign materials had to captivate a wide audience.  

Collaborating with SouthPoint Church, our aim was to craft compelling materials demonstrating the progress made since the initial campaign and outlining the objectives for the upcoming campaign. Through close collaboration, we ensured that the campaign materials authentically conveyed SouthPoint’s distinctive message, resonating with their extensive donor network in the church and the broader community.

A Logo Looking for a Second Lift Off

A campaign logo is often the first part of your campaign that is seen, so it needs to make a splash. SouthPoint wanted this campaign, “Ignite Impact,” to show a connection to their first one, “Launching a Legacy.” Since both slogans have a futuristic feel, a rocket ship was used as the logo. While the first campaign’s logo was an outline, this second campaign logo is shaded in with tones of blue.  Visually, it demonstrates that the campaign's goal is progressing as donations come in.
